/'Greened' potatoes (Solanum /tuberosum)
Potato stems & leaves are highly {toxic}. Poisoning from feeding leaves & stems to domestic animals is well recognized. The main hazard comes from eating 'greened' potatoes. Greening & sprouting occur when potatoes are exposed to light or stored in adverse conditions. 


SYMPTOMS: {Vomiting}, {diarrhea}, abdominal pain, slight fever & rarely, {convulsions} & {coma}. Seek medical advice.
